Ciaran Westland
As General Manager, Ciaran Westland leads Stewart Title’s management team in Australia and is responsible for oversight of the company’s general business and regulatory functions. Ciaran is charged with developing Stewart Title’s growth plans and ensuring the execution of the company’s strategic business objectives.
Ciaran brings to Stewart more than 14 years of combined operational and senior management experience. He most recently was the chief executive officer of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers (WA Division) and a member of the Property Industry Advisory Committee for the Department of Commerce.

Helen Koon
As Manager, Finance, Helen Koon is responsible for all day-to-day finance related duties for Stewart Title. These include financial reporting and statements, tax compliance, regulatory compliance, budget preparation and oversight of cash flow.
Helen has been with Stewart Title since 2004. She has worked for more than 15 years in the finance field, and brings with her a wealth of financial management and compliance experience. Prior to joining Stewart Title, Helen worked for 4 years with a CPA firm where she was responsible for all financial accounting matters. She has also held various accountant positions with financial services organisations.
Helen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Newcastle. She is also a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).

Sacha Mitrakos-Shultz
In her role as Director – Human Resources, Sacha Mitrakos-Shultz is responsible for the design and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures for Stewart Title Guaranty Company (Canada) as well as providing support for Stewart Title Limited (United Kingdom, Europe and Australia). She oversees key HR functions including payroll administration, recruitment, benefits administration, performance management, health & safety as well as training and development.
She supports Stewart Title Limited by working to streamline HR processes in all offices while ensuring compliance with internal and legislative HR requirements.
Ms. Mitrakos-Shultz joined Stewart Canada in 2005 in the Human Resources Department, and became HR Director in 2008.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Toronto as well as a Human Resources Management degree. She is a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association and holds a Certified Human Resources Professional designation.
David Shat
In his role of Director – Information Technology, David Shat is responsible for creating and implementing IT standards, policy and procedures for Stewart Title Guaranty Company (Canada) and Stewart Title Limited (United Kingdom, Europe and Australia). He is focused on aligning Information Technology with Stewart’s business requirements and demands by creating solutions through project management and network infrastructures.
Mr. Shat joined Stewart Title in 2000 as a Systems Administrator and was promoted to Director – Information Technology in June 2008. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry to his position.
Prior to joining Stewart, Mr. Shat worked in a variety of IT roles. He began his career as a PC Assembler and hardware QA tester and has held positions as a technical support person, sales manager, field technician and operations manager.
Mr. Shat is a graduate of the Aberdeen Technical School in Hong Kong and completed management courses at the University of Toronto.
