Anna Macdonald

As General Manager, Anna Macdonald oversees and is responsible for the growth and leadership of Stewart Title’s Australian Operations. This responsibility also includes managing all day-to-day operational and regulatory functions, as well as title insurance industry-related issues for Stewart Title.

Anna joined Stewart Title in 2002 as Operations Manager. In this role she oversaw the establishment of all areas of the business with particular emphasis on Customer Service, Underwriting, Marketing and Compliance. Anna was appointed General Manager of the Australian Operation in December 2005.

Prior to joining Stewart Title Anna was General Manager for an Australian technology services company and was responsible for oversight of their operations in Australia, India and Malaysia.

Anna holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney.

Paul Watkins

As General Counsel, Australia, Paul Watkins is responsible for the management and direction of the Underwriting and Legal Departments at Stewart Title Limited, including commercial and residential policy development, regulatory compliance, claims and underwriting supervision and general corporate legal matters.

Prior to joining Stewart Title Limited in 2004, Paul worked as a lawyer in private practice in both small and medium sized law firms where he gained considerable experience in general insurance, residential and commercial conveyancing, commercial property development, leasing and general property practice.

Paul has been a contributor to a number of Australian legal industry publications discussing the benefits of title insurance, including the New South Wales Law Society Journal. Paul also regularly presents to lawyers and lenders on a variety of real estate related issues, including title insurance, title claims and real estate fraud.

Paul holds degrees in Law (Hons) and Social Sciences from the University of Canberra and is admitted as a Solicitor in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.

Helen Koon

As Manager, Finance, Helen Koon is responsible for all day-to-day finance related duties for Stewart Title. These include financial reporting and statements, tax compliance, regulatory compliance, budget preparation and oversight of cash flow.

Helen has been with Stewart Title for more than two years. She has worked for more than 13 years in the finance field, and brings with her a wealth of financial management and compliance experience. Prior to joining Stewart Title, Helen worked for 4 years with a CPA firm where she was responsible for all financial accounting matters. She has also held various accountant positions with financial services organisations.

Helen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Newcastle. She is also a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).
